Technically, the UK subsidiary of Graitec will centralize purchases for the Graitec Group and will act as a purchasing entity to Autodesk and distributors. Existing Graitec local VAR contracts in Italy, Czech Republic and Poland (Robobat) will be replaced by the new Platinum contract.
With Autodesk Platinum Status across Europe and as a long standing Autodesk Developer Network partner, Graitec is quickly achieving its ambition to become a leading global BIM provider and manufacturing partner delivering Autodesk first class solutions and Graitec technologies with proven expertise for helping customers quickly and successfully transition to BIM. This strategy is already positively impacting the UK, Czech Republic and Poland markets where growth is expected to be +60% for Y2014 (vs. Y2013) at 27,5 M€.
Graitec intends to leverage this successful experience and build on its customer confidence to accelerate BIM adoption in other Europe countries.
As a leading specialist in Structural Engineering and BIM technology, Graitec has already started developing complementary productivity tools and add-ons for Autodesk Revit to bridge the gap between design and detailing.
Francis Guillemard, Graitec CEO adds: “The strategy of Graitec is to become a global leading BIM provider, combining Autodesk and Graitec technologies for delivering real benefits to customers and accelerating BIM adoption around the world. The partnership with Autodesk is strong and Graitec positions itself more than ever as a premier partner for all construction professionals wanting to move to BIM.”
