Autodesk Simulation CFD

Computational Fluid Dynamics is a useful simulation tool in many disciplines. Autodesk provides Simulation CFD to meet the needs of professionals in areas as diverse as electronics, aerospace, defense, lighting, LEDs, valves, and architectural/MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).

Autodesk Simulation CFD delivers the latest products from the CF Design team which was acquired by Autodesk in 2011.  The Simulation CFD software permits you to do fluid flow and thermal simulations to help predict product performance, optimize designs, and validate product behavior before manufacturing. Optimizing products can lower manufacturing costs, improve manufacturing yields, and increase product reliability in the field.

Simulation CFD works with your CAD system with a CAD-model-centric interface, automated finite element meshing, fast solvers, and a "Design Study Environment" to help with setup, exploration, and decision making.

Autodesk Simulation CFD products are available to study a range of fluid flow and heat transfer applications. The Simulation CFD 2013 comes in 3 versions.

Autodesk also proposes a cloud-based version : Autodesk Simulation CFD 360.
